Description: A fine Art Nouveau style inkwell/pen tray, in excellent condition except that the opaline glass insert has one small edge chip. It measures 8 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches, and is 2 1/2 inches tall. There are sone ink stains on the bottom of the lid, and down in the brass well, under the glass insert. The hinge pin is brass, so it won't corrode at that spot. The brass has been polished. It is not marked as to maker or country of origin.
