Description: Art Nouveau mirror, it is not gesso, or plaster, it is hand carved wood , and gold leaves gilding Most carved mirrors are really made with a wood based frame and carved Gesso (Gypsum), this is one of the rare pieces really 100% carved in wood. Crystal is new, as well as gold leaves gilding , probably made during the Art Nouveau revival of the 1960s , measuring 43 inches H and 28 inches wide.
