Description: A very fine Continental enamel and 18K gold portrait brooch, probably French, circa 1880. The subject is a young woman and she is finely painted wearing a beaded gold crown with a mine cut diamond star at the center. She is surrounded with a rainbow of colored enamel over a granular gold under surface. The gold tests 18 K. Condition: Excellent. Dimensions: Diameter 1".
