Genuine wolf fur lines the lining hood of this World War II sage green field cotton double parka. Sage green cotton pull-over styled outer field coat features a drawstring waist, a drawstring bottom with leather grommets and wooden ball keepers, a large front pass-through pocket and a collar that closes with 4 large buttons and a drawstring. Heavy double plush lining buttons onto the coat and closes at the neck with a large metal zipper. Fur lined hood buttons onto the built-in outer hood for extra stability and warmth. This is a SERIOUS winter coat, designed to meet the strict standards of the US Army and Air Force. In very good condition with only two small (0.25" long) tears and a few small spots. Tag reads "Stock No. 55-P-4105" and bears dates of 6/3/43 and Aug. 10, 1943.
