Description:
This old hardcover book is entitled "Arabian Nights" and is profusely illustrated in black and white on almost every page and has wonderful tales such as The Little Hunchback , The Merchant's Story, The Tailor's story, The Jewish Doctor's Story, etc. This edition has no page numbers but I would guess it to be around 300 pages, published by M.A. Donohue & Company, Revised For Young Readers by E.O. Chapman. In fair original condition it measures 9 3/4" by 7 1/2" , the pages are intact and crease free,however they have yellowed from age and the first approx. 25 pages have an indentation that may be a worm hole, the spine seems tight but the cover of the book is loose from the spine or binding and the exterior shows wear, a piece is missing from the upper right hand corner (approx. 1 1/2")and the back is stained. There is a inscription in pencil to the inside cover.
