Description: The Apollo Studios produced this lovely hand mirror and hairbrush dresser set during the early 1900s. Featuring heavy intricate ormolu or brass, reticulated filigree with floral openwork and a large, centered, prong set, beveled amethyst colored glass jewel, all over celluloid or mica with a beige satin lining beneath. This outstanding vanity set matches an Apollo dresser box we have recently sold but the Apollo stamp, on these pieces, has thus far eluded me. With only slight discoloration to the silk, due to age, this old dresser set is in excellent condition.
