Description: An Egyptian Revival style enameled brass Art Deco vanity set made by Apollo Studios of New York during the 1900s (Apollo opened in 1909 and closed in 1922) The set is made up of a perfume atomizer, powder jar and jewelry box, and features ornate brass with red and black enamel decoration. The brass perfume atomizer bottle, features intricate geometric designed black and red enamel bordering the lower part of the atomizer. The original atomizer hardware screws into a screw-in bronze capped canister that once contained perfume. Measuring 7 inches tall and is in excellent condition, other than some tarnishing and wear due to age. APOLLO marked and numbered 3035 The footed jewelry box has intricately embossed geometric patterned metalwork with black and red enameled highlights bordering and on the top of the hinged lid. The inside is lined in taupe colored velvet. Measures 6 inches long x 4 3/4 inches deep x 2 1/4 inches tall. The inside is 2 inches deep and each of the four feet is 3/4 of an inch high. The base is engraved with the APOLLO mark and numbered 3045. Other than some tarnishing and wear, due to age the jewelry box is in excellent used condition The matching powder jar also has intricately embossed geometrically patterned metalwork with the black and red enameled highlights bordering the bottom and bordering the lid of the jar. Measures 4 inches tall to the to of its finial x 4 inches in diameter. The bottom is engraved with the APOLLO mark and the number 3037.With only some tarnishing and wear the condition is excellent for its 100 year old age. This is a really special set and exemplifies the style that Apollo items are famous for
