Description: This brass powder or dresser jar was produced by the Apollo Studios during the early 1900s (Apollo opened in 1909 and closed in 1922). Featuring intricately embossed geometrically patterned metalwork with black and red enameled highlights bordering the bottom and bordering the lid of the jar. Measures 4 inches tall to the to of its finial x 4 inches in diameter. The bottom is engraved with the APOLLO mark and the number 3037.With only some tarnishing and wear the condition is excellent for its 100 year old age.
