Description: 18th. century zitan wood box with brass handles and ornaments, contains 6 exquisite white jade seals with the handle carved in high relief and open work in shape of a kilin (unicorn). Each seal is different and the shape differs from one seal to the other. The red dye in the crevices attest to their previous use. This jade seals collection is part of our imperial seals collection. Size of box: 7.5" X 4.8" x 4" ((19 cm. X 12 cm. x 10 cm.). Seal size: 2" x 1.2" (5 cm. X 3 cm.). Estimated value: $18.000.
