Description: BURTON BROOK FARM ANTIQUES presents a fine antique WOODS BURSLEM ENGLAND covered tureen. The tureen of "ivory ware" with floral borders and gilding. It is approx. 9 1/2" wide handle to handle. It is approx. 6 1/2" to top of finial. There are no chips or cracks or repairs. There are a few pepper specks in the glazing in the tureen center bowl. There is a 1/8" tiny rough spot underneath the tureen lid. There is very slight crazing on the lid near the dome finial and a small light discoloration near the base of the finial. These are barely visible. The traces of gilding on the finial & handles and lid edge show tender but loving wear. This beautiful period tureen is a great collectable in good condition with the age appropriate patina. More images available.
