Description:
This fine dessert service for twenty-four persons has a plain form. Each piece has a hallmarked blade and handle. The forks have a faceted shaft. The handles of each piece are embellished with a subtle linear design and ornamented to both sides with the applied crest(s) of an esquire's helmet proper, a demi goat rampant and scrolling plume mantelling. This service is held in four velvet cutlery rolls. This fine service for twenty four persons is an extremely good gauge of silver and fine quality. In keeping with the age of the service, there are some minor dings evident to some of the handles. Full hallmarks struck to the blades and handles are all very clear. Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of these items. Length of knife 21cm/8.25", Length of fork 17.3cm/6.8". Alternative images available on request.
