Description: Rather nice 19th century snuff box in black lacquer papier-mâché. It could quite possibly be of Russian origin. The scene on the top is a lacquered scene of the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus. This box is in very good condition with a perfectly working hinge. It measures 3 3/8” x 2” x 1”.
