Description:
I am not really sure what this box was originally meant for. I obtained it from a lady in her 70's who told me she had gotten as a child and had used it to store "treasures" in and also as a sewing box as she got older.
I just thought it was intriguing. The top, which is stained and needs a good cleaning, is fabric and has an old world street scene on it. Inside the top is a padded fabric in greens, pinks and some brown in a home garden type seen. The sides seem to be some sort of covered board. Maybe thick cardboard with a textured covering in a wine/burgundy color that looks kind of like leather.
It stands about4" tall and 9 1/4" wide and 8 1/8" deep There is some light wear to the edges, please see photos. As mentioned the top needs a good cleaning but I leave that to the buyer to use their preferred method. No other rips, tears or breaks noted
