Description: Here is an outstanding Victorian mahogany rocking chair. This piece has been completely re-glued and refinished. The finish is a high quality closed grain lacquer. This rocker is in overall fine condition. The chair features lion headed arms. The back panel of the chair features a gesso overlay of a Victorian maiden adorned with lace and flowers. There are some fine cracks in the gesso which is normal considering it's age. The rocking chair measures 24.5" wide by 32" deep and is 33" tall. Truly a find of the highest order, given this chair's age and condition. Insured shipping charges will be based on the location of the buyer.
