Description: This is a gorgeous Victorian burr walnut bureau plat/writing table, circa 1860. The gorgeous grains of the wood ensure that this table will get noticed wherever it is placed. The top of the table is simple and highlights the stunning grain of the burr walnut. The top and sides of the table are crossbanded and inlaid with mahogany, satinwood and ebony. Gilded ormolu outlines the shape of the desk, and highlights the crossbanded decoration on each of the sides. It is finished on all sides so that it can stand freely in the middle of a room, making it extremely suitable for a large home or business office. The table has one drawer for all of your storage needs.
