Description: Here is an absolutely wonderful pair 19th century andirons. The design is very aesthetic movement. They have a wonderful and shapely cut out base as you can see with stark contrasting columns for the top. They have a foundry mark letter A on the back. This is a fabulous and substantial pair of andirons – they could go with a multitude of designs from classical to Arts & Crafts, aesthetic movement. It would be easy to decorate the fireplace hearth with this pair. They measure 19 ½”h x 9 ½”w x 17”d.
