Description: A Very Beautiful Antique Tortoise Shell Box, of Chest Form with Flat Lid, front and back, Chamfered Corners. Silver Ball Finial, and small Silver Cartouche on the front. Edged and inlaid with thin Silver and Ivory. The Lids of the interior dividers have hand turned Ball Shape Silver handles, as are the feet on which the box rest. In Excellent Condition. A Very Fine Example with Beautiful Markings. Honey, Blonde and Amber Coloration. Circa 1780 to 1790,
