Antique Theodore B. Starr Silver On Copper Serving Dish
Description: Antique Dish in Silver on Copper, Late 19C/Early 20C, by Theodore B. Starr in New York. The circular dish has a tripod support. It has an ornamental scrolled border and the interior is engraved with flowers and C-scrolls. On the underside is the hallmark for Theodore B. Starr, a smithy that was in operation from circa 1890s to 1924. "Silver on copper" is also stamped there. Dimensions: 2-1/8" High, 12-1/4" Diameter. Weight: 2-1/2 lbs. Condition: There is some surface wear in the form of light scratching, and a few nicks and scuffs. There is also some tarnishing. But the piece should clean nicely.
