Antique Theodore Haviland Limoges Art Deco Gravy Boat
Description: Antique Soup Tureen with Integral Stand, 1920s-'30s, by Théodore Haviland in Limoges, France. The tureen, cover, and stand are octagonal in form. The ground is pale yellow and white, and there is a gilt stylized floral border. The piece has two stamps for Théodore Haviland that were in use during the 1920s and '30s. A nice example of Modern style Haviland. Dimensions: 4-1/4" High, 7-1/8" Wide, 7-1/8" Deep. Total weight: 1-1/3 lbs. Condition: The tureen, cover, and stand are in good condition The gilding is tarnished though intact and there are signs of normal surface wear. Otherwise a nice clean piece.
