This simple and elegant pond yacht was recently hand-crafted in England and imported to our store here in Atlanta, GA. The wood has a beautiful complexion, complemented nicely by the off-white sails. The craftsmanship in this piece is very detailed, as evidenced in the various rigging and tiny, stained grooves that mimic planks, as well as the antiqued surfaces. The stand is crafted from pine and features green felt where the boat rests in order to avoid damaging the piece. The daggerboard (also known as a "centerboard") looks quite elegant and sturdy, giving the piece an authentic look, which is fitting since this boat should sail. This piece will disassemble for shipping, so you will need to know how to reassemble the mast and rigging and such.
