Description: This unique bowl star chest of drawers was recently hand crafted in England by a master-craftsman using old world techniques and shipped directly to our warehouse in Atlanta. This lovely chest features a walnut brushing slide, canted corners, and a beautiful bowl star on the bottom drawer which was once a motif used in north-west England (i.e. Lancashire or Westmorland) during the 17th century. The beautiful walnut grain is complemented by brass hardware including the working locks on each drawer. The 5 dovetailed drawers providing ample storage space are aligned well, opening and closing smoothly they speak volumes about the craftsmanship that went into this piece.
