Description:
This lovely mahogany breakfront open bookcase was recently handcrafted in England and stands proud at seven feet. The amazing mahogany grain is a real treat and the pictures cant quite capture how your eyes and hands feel up close to this spectacular piece which will add a regal and intellectual taste to any room. The casters this bookcase stands on are wobble free and rest assured this well crafted piece will stay sturdy for generations of scholarly use. The satinwood (Named after its smooth satin-like figuring) inlay is a delcate yet astounding touch especially when considering the time and hard work taken to hand-cut a set of softwood inlays and set them into harder wood. The carved dental moulding along the top of the bookcase further exemplifies english master-craftsmenship as does each hand cut shelf that fits nice and tight into the alligator brackets. The bookcase comes with four very thick and adjustable shelves. These shelves are strong enough to hold an entire row of heavy books without bowing or warping. This beautiful mahogany breakfront open bookcase was shipped to us straight from England and is in excellent condition...dont miss your chance to own it today!
