Description: An antique sterling silver set comprised of hand mirror and brush in sterling silver by American maker, R. Blackinton. The pair, in a Rococo design, have large oval cartouches set in the middle of the floral scroll work. The cartouches measure 1 ¾” in length on the hand mirror and 1 ½” on the brush which allows room for creativity for monograms. The pair bear the marks for R. Blackinton & Co. which was known for fine quality silver items of which this set is a fine example. Early 20th. C Please check pictures for measurements Condition, very good antique condition, surface scratches and minor dings in accordance with age and use.
