Description:
Antique Stained Glass French Doors & Transon c1900"Waterfall Scene" This set of French Doors and Transon is very decorative and painted in the Trompe l'oeil style 'to deceive the eye' which gives the impression of looking out onto a garden pond scene. The water feature is of a woman holding a ewer from which water is spurting and lower down is a fish with water flowing from its mouth. The garden scene is full of different flowers and trees. The transon to go over both doors is hand painted with trailing Wisteria in a lovely Lilac colour, which trails down into the tops of the doors. The hand painting on this set of 3 pieces is exceptional and the finest Antique glass has been used. The set is in their original pine frames, but could be taken out and used as windows. Please note you are buying a pair of doors and a overhead transon. 3 pieces. A futher 3 sets of doors are available, please e-mail for information or for our catalogue/brochure
