Description: This Antique Change Purse is very ornate made with metal Work and Mother of Pearl sides that opens up to fabric pockets inside. I believe this is early ca 1800 English or French coin purse as the makes name is "Soubenit" that is on the metal piece on the front. It's condition is (vintage good) as you will see in the photos it has some issues with damage to the Mother of Pearl on both sides, front being the worse. The metal flip latch closure has come off but will still hold the purse shut. The latch inside is ok, but the fabric is fragile from age. It measures 2.50 long and 1.75 high. What a special vintage piece this little change purse of yesteryear is and a great one to add toyour collection!
