Item Description:
This beautiful antique solid oak sideboard has a bevelled edge rounded corner backsplash with rounded corner extended drawer facings featuring brass bail pulls. The left drawer is divided and both drawers are crafted using dovetail joinery. The sides of the piece are paneled and the cabinet doors are paneled with decorative corners. Brass drop pulls and escutcheons adorn the cabinet doors. Two working keys are present and are lock specific. There is a center accent carving between the cabinet doors. The piece stands solidly on cabriole legs and pad feet indicative of the Queen Anne styling. A very attractive piece for your dining room!
Condition:
The left drawer is missing the bail pull on the right side. There are slight separations on the left side and in the center. The divided drawer has remains of the felt that has been removed. The right front leg is missing a portion of the curved support bracket. These minor imperfections (pictured) are to be expected for a piece of this age (circa 1920) and only seem to add to the history and character of this lovely piece. Make it yours today!
