Item Description: This is a very unique antique solid oak Dutch Gothic side chair. It has a classic cut on the edge of its top rail and it features a gorgeous back embellished with a Gothic fretwork design that it is really pleasant to look at and admire. Its seat is very comfortable and it has a lovely green upholstered velvet fabric that is nice to the touch. The fabric is held in place by attractive brass nails all around the sides of the seat. The chair’s front legs are lightly fluted and they have very pretty bun feet with a strong H stretcher. Even though the leg has some minor age appropriate flaws they are easily overlooked, otherwise this chair is overall in very good cosmetic and structural condition and is strong and sturdy. This chair will be welcome in any room you choose to use it in and will make a great Gothic presentation wherever is displayed.
