Item Description:
This is a handsome antique solid oak dresser chest vanity with a mirror. It has a large beveled rectangle mirror that tilts smoothly and even though the mirror and its frame has some age appropriate flaws they’re not distracting at all, in fact they add to the character and validity of the furniture’s age, circa 1920. The mirror is supported by two beautiful carved turnings, one of which seems to have been previously repaired at the bottom. The top surface has a back splash with a lovely floral carved accent in its center and though the top surface has some slight wood separation and other minor imperfections it is expected for a piece of this age. The drawers are solid and operate smoothly well constructed with dovetail joinery. They have attractive brass pulls attached on floral shaped hardware. On the bottom this chest has convenient casters. Overall this vanity is in good structural condition and it is strong and sturdy. This piece of furniture will be welcome in any room you choose to use it in and should last you a lifetime of enjoyment.
