Purchased from a collector of antique collector, this snuff bottle measures 3 inches tall and the center width is 1 ¼ inches; found unmarked this antique snuff bottle still has the “tape” on the bottom to insure the snuff bottle stands erect and does not fall over in a display cabinet.
There are a few pictures where the top does not look that it fits securely however it does, this was a mistake we made when taking pictures not to secure the top.
Snuff bottles have always been collectible, made from a wide assortment of materials, from china; it is a fun item to collect as most of them were truly ornate and decorative.
