One of the most exciting change purses I have had in soft Cognac coloured leather in excellent shape with all the stitching intact. The silver mount to the front is quite magnificent in late Victorian aesthetic style incorporating a butterfly, flying Swallow, a Fan and foliage - all intact and without breaks. The interior comprises of numerous compartments including two small postage stamp slots to the front and a secured central compartment. This would make a stunning business card holder, very stylish or a small purse for those special occasions. The English solid or sterling silver is clearly hallmarked for London 1900, making this a true Victorian piece. Excellent condition measuring 4 1/2" x 2 1/2".
