Description: A wonderful and most unusual solid or sterling silver framed desk accessory. The pierced or reticulated frame is highly decorative and clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1900, making this a late Victorian example. The tablet has remained undamaged over the last 100 years, there is some age crazing, quite normal but mentioned for accuracy. Great to see the print good clear and crisp. The backing and folding easel is totally original with the normal wear to the plush of the velvet. Very good condition measuring 6 1/2" x 5 1/2". Worldwide insured airmail included.
