Description:
This is an incredible Pair of Classical Corinthian column banquet lamps. They were originally oil burning and they date from the 19th century. The design is very architectural with deeply reeded columns on a multi-step base. The crystal oil font is extravagantly cut and appears to be English or Irish. Although this pair started out life together they are not identical. There is a minute difference in the design of the columns and at first glance not noticeable. They are now fitted for electricity with associated contemporary shades. Measuring 34 ½ inches high overall. The condition is very good. They’re ready to plug in and enjoy. No makers mark found.
