Description: Antique Belle Epoque sapphire and diamond ring set in platinum on 18k gold. 1890 - 1920's.

Weighs approx 5 grams. US size 5 1/2, but can easilly be re-sized to fit any finger without compromising the setting in any way.

Deep blue square stone surrounded by diamonds. Set in platinum. Beautifully made setting and fine workmanship - see magnified details in the 'photos. Back of ring is arching gold openwork, allowing light to enter from all sides. Gold tests for 18 carat. Beautifully made and looks fabulous on the fingers

Good condition.

I am not a gemologist, but I was told by a GIA gemologist that the size of the sapphire is approx 3 to 3 1/2 carats.
