This rare Art Nouveau ring is from the Russian imperial capital of St. Petersburg. Of floral inspiration, the gold ring is designed as a V set with rose diamonds and a seed pearl, below a cluster of three Old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately .66 ct total. The combined effect of these forms pleases the eye, and flatters the hand. Fully hallmarked with the assaymark for St. Petersburg, 1904-08, and 56, the Russian gold standard for 14k.
