Description: For sale is a fantastic Queen Anne painted oil lamp. Fabulous lamp with a cut glass frosted oil font, brass burner, iron base, (painted black), and painted landscape scene on lower glass stem. The painting features a house, trees, winter scene, hard to see it in the pics. Everything is original except the chimney, which looks fairly new; easy to find an old one. Good condition; brass has a nice patina. Turn pull reads: Sxxxvill Mfg. Co., Made in USA, (Scovill Mfg. Co. of Waterbury, Conneticut most likely). The first letters are hard to make out. This gorgeous lamp stands 20.5 tall with chimney on, and is 4.75 wide at base. The black paint on bottom base is striated, (very old paint), and showing a bit of wear as expected.
