Description:
Antique porch pillar pedestal accent table, with round stepped base, fluted pillar, and square top with curlicue corners. This carved primitive piece appears to be made from a cut down porch pillar that was once painted white. It has been stripped down to its natural, warm honey color with traces of the old paint. The table is sturdily put together from solid hardwood parts. It measures a little over 19 inches high, the top is about 13 inches square, and it weighs about 18 pounds. There are 5 round green felt pads on the bottom. Condition is good and the wood surface is smooth and appears to have a clear matte finish. There is a small, shallow gouge area on the top where the finish has rubbed off. There are some age cracks that penetrate up to a couple of inches into the wood. Some have been filled and some have not. This piece is one of two that are listed. Each has a lot of character and would make a stunning accent table or display base. Shipping / packaging will be $15 - $35, based upon the zip code of the buyer.
