Description: Here is a highly unusual lamp made by and marked as such on the bottom of the lamp – Mosaic Shade Company Chicago. The eight panel shade is in the most spectacular colors of tangerine and lime. The work is highly detailed with a nice border. There is so much bold movement to the bend in the panels of the shade. All the panels are in exceptionally good condition – there are no breaks or damage that I can see. It is on the most incredible and highly decorative lamp base – I believe it is metal which was made to look like silver – then again it might be silver I’m not sure. It is ornately embossed with swirls of flowers and flowing leaves of the art nouveau era. All the around the swirling base of the lamp on every other swirl there is a flower and I can see remnants of the original enameling decoration. The lamp is in very good condition – and again highly unusual to find a lamp made by the Mosaic Shade Company of Chicago. It measures 22 ½”h with an approx. overall diameter of 15”.
