Description: Antique Native American Indian decorated Birch Box from the great Lakes Midwest region, mid 19th century with hand decorations, tied overlap and a signature on the base. This stands 1 1/2" high with the lid on and is 3" across the top. Great early patina and design. A chip break on top lid lip line (see photo) otherwise in nice shape. A rather rare and unusual Birch Box.
