Description: 19th century, miniature Satsuma teakettle of superb quality and exceptionally fine details, of compressed form, finely hand painted in colored enamels and gilt with group of 6 geishas in kimonos and two boats with a fisherman and Japanese ladies highlighted with gold decorations. The piece stands on 3 legs and is signed on the bottom, the handle has an authentic woven wrappings. Measurements: 3 ½ inches (9cm) in diameter. Condition: in good condition with nice showing the age and usage patina.
