Description: Antique / vintage 17 jewels miniature, gilt bronze, figural clock. The body is English, made by Bentima circa 1930's and the movement is Swiss.

This is a true miniature clock, measuring just over 2 1/2 inches high and a little under 2 inches wide.

4 ball feet support a rectangular casket shaped base. Above this is a domed, elongated body with a round face, engraved Roman numerals, calibrated down to the minute. On top is a winder. Next to the body of the clock is a chinoiserie figure of a Chinaman, sitting cross-legged, with a tall, pointy hat, ruffled collar and engraved detail to his clothing.

A round opening at the back reveals the movement, which is very fine and in good, working order. It is engraved with Bentima STAR, SWISS, 17 JEWELS.

Good, original condition.
