This is another cool Paris-Flea-Market-Style piece of metalware.
This listing is for a metal cash box (a.k.a. a strong box, document box, or bankers box) that is very strong and heavy.
This box is unusual and coo because instead of having just a hollow empty single chamber inside, this one has a divided inside so you can file things in an orderly fashion....perhaps $1's, $5's, $10's in the small spaces on the right and perhaps coin money in the square area and receipts in the long back slot. But you could use it fo anything...your beading supplies, crafting supplies, funky portable makeup case, paint supplies all you need is a canvas! The possibilities are ENDLESS.
The color is black metal. There is a red stripe border on the cover. There is a metal and wooden handle.
Dimensions: 9.5" x 6.75 x a little less than 3.5".
This piece is in shabby chic or paris flea market condition...meaning it is very weathered and has a lovely patina. In this case, the latching mechanism is no longer there. But a handy person could easily come up with a solution...perhaps a bolt and a butterfly nut?
