Description: Antique Martial Federal import Civil War French-made LeFaucheaux 12mm (.45 cal.) pin fire revolver (serial number 11XXX on the right side of the frame and French markings – definitely in serial number range that was imported by the federals, who imported approximately 26,000 French-made LeFaucheux revolvers). Many issued to artillery companies. Six shot, 6.25 inch round barrel. Ejector and loading gate intact. Finger spur on trigger guard and lanyard ring on butt. Gray-brown gun that shows period use and wear consistent with being an issued weapon. Original wood grips fit very well, are not split, cracked or chipped and are in VG condition. Overall VG condition. Action functional.
