Description: Antique celluloid mantel clock with multi colored stones around the glass face. The clock is marked Made in the U.S.A., that is the only mark that I could find. The clock is covered with an celluloid veneer called almantine that was patented in 1880, Seth Thomas bought the rights to use the product in 1881. The clock measures 8" long x 5 " tall & 3 1/2" deep. You can see the condition problem in the 3rd photo, my price reflects this. The top corners in the front have been broken off. The clock does run.
