Description:
This mahogany Chippendale-style chest of drawers was crafted in England around 1900. It's 100+ year lifespan has deepened and enriched the mahogany's patina and accents the grain. This dresser is made up of (2) short drawers and (3) graduated drawers. Each drawer front has a plain-drop solid-brass handle and solid-brass keyhole plate. The stiles have lovely intricate carvings which add a charming detail to this dresser (pictured below) and the skirt is shaped around the sides. This sturdy chest of drawers sits atop shaped bracket feet. This dresser has a generous amount of storage space with the bottom
drawer being a full 8.75" deep. There are locks but no keys. There is slight water damage to the left side, unable to photograph. Otherwise this piece is in good condition. It is a dresser that will grow with your decor, it's timeless style and sturdy construction make it a wise investment.
