Description:
This unusual antique, marble top center table is crafted from solid carved beechwood. It measures 50" wide, 30.5" tall and 33" deep. The table features extensive carved decoration, including a reticulated frieze centered with royal crown and cartouche with fleur de lis and eagle wings, foliate "c" scrolls, flower petals and berries. Condition is very good. There are nicks and scratches, consistent with age, and a small loss to the reticulated crown on one side. This table will compliment any classical or neoclassical decor, including French Louis XV or English Georgian styles, and will also look right at home in any French provincial decor. This table resides with our client in midtown Manhattan ( New York City ) and may be seen in person by appointment. Additional images forwarded upon request. ( hantiques )
