Description:
We offer a very attractive antique brass chandelier with beautiful aurora borealis prisms. The prisms catch a soft hint of every color in the rainbow. The brass chandelier dates to the early 1930's and has a very old gold finish that has aged beautifully. The brass work has scrolls and acanthus leaf details with a mixture of open work that gives this piece a lite and airy feeling. The fixture has six lights that will take up to a 40 watt candelabra/chandelier type bulb. there is about 18" of matching chain that can be adjusted by removing links. I do not have the original ceiling canopy. These are available at any hardware store or on line. The fixture measures 21 1/2" tall with out the chain, and 20" wide. The chandelier is in very good working order. The wiring looks and works fine, But I would suggest it be checked by a professional before installation just for safety. The prisms are not chipped but do have some lite scratching to the back side where the color is adhered from age. There is a small brass tip that was broken off at some point. I didn't even see it when I purchased it. This is not noticeable unless you know about it and does not effect the functionality. Please see picture. This will be a beautiful addition to any room in your home.
