Item Description: This is a gorgeous and large antique French marquetry golden oak Art Deco 3 door armoire wardrobe closet. It has a unique scalloped cornice with a crossbanded inlaid design on its center and it features a large closet which has two convenient removable shelves and a metal hanging rod. On its front it offers a large door on its center that has a very big oval beveled mirror and two doors on the sides that are beautiful adorned with floral marquetry with various exotic wood inlays and crossbanded oval designs. The doors have very unique brass pulls with fancy hardware, and at the bottom it has a lovely serpentine skirt and very attractive carved feet with gadroons. The mirror may have minor flaws and there are other age appropriate wood separations and imperfections but as shown it is overall in very good condition for its age. Due to the weight of the mirrored door, when all three doors are open without anything inside the armoire tends to lean forward, otherwise it is strong and sturdy. This is a high quality armoire and will enrich any bedroom with its opulence.
