Description: A most unusual desk-top inkwell beautifully decorated with a repousse bow and garland design to the hinged lid and the plate at the back. There is also another wreath, bow and garland engraving above the pen tray to the front. When the hinged lid is opened there is the original removable brass ink chamber. Dating to around 1890, Victorian in period, this unusual piece remains in excellent condition. Measures 4 5/8" deep x 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" tall. Worldwide insured airmail included.
