Description: 6.25" x 5" ( 16 x 2.7 cm ) Brass Mat Insert size is 2.5" x 4" approx. ( 6.4 x 9.8 cm ). Hand-carved Ivory fastened with Brass Tacks decorates the corners of this pretty Lacquered wood frame. C1875 or earlier, made in England. Home-made metal swivel stand. The lacquer shows some chipping & losses on left, next to the brass mat. Illustrated.
