Description: Antique Judaica wood and silver primitive Torah Yad / pointer. Made in the Middle East or North Africa.

A little under 10 inches long.

Very primitive Yad made of wood, showing signs of very good age. Silver with Yemenite filigree style decoraiton and a coral bead as well as little silver bells that jingle as the Yad moves. Sold to me as 'silver', but I am not sure what the metal is and if silver, not of the highest grade. The tip of the index, pointing finger broke off and has to be restored. Still a very interesting historic item.
